Verla is from the Great Ruling Norse Witch family. She's the keeper of the ancient Book of Spells that has been in her family since ancient times. Her ancestors used to be pretty scary but now-a-days Verla's pet owl, Squats, is much scarier than Verla. He's ALWAYS grumpy!
